After doing a great deal of research, I depended on the Concept 2 Model D rower. Cheaper rowers all looked to possess quality/durability/longevity difficulties. I moved with this on the water rower since it appears to get less maintenance demands and was actually less expensive. This rower is commercial standard, and rock solid and should last a long time. I enjoy the method by which the producer sells replacement parts for part of this rower for comparatively cheap if I needed anything after the guarantee expires. When compared with economical rowers, the more guarantee is reassuring but I doubt I'll need it. At about $1000 after taxation this is absolutely an investment, however I expect to use it for quite a while, without having to replace cheaper machines which simply are not as great. The PM5 track onto it gives me all of the stats that I want for the hour long rows. I had been concerned about the end resistance being overly loud, it's absolutely not silent, but you can't really hear the sound in another room when you've got the door shut. Difficult to listen to television without wearing headphones however. I purchased the smartphone , and see streaming movies onto it with headset. Quite pleased with this purchase so far (been using it for about a week). The rowing itself good, the chair possibly too difficult for many folks, simply purchase a chair pad. I really like the way that it divides in 2 bits rather than folding in half, it enables me to keep it into a nook in my bedroom. I shall update this review after if needed.
