Am an avid military enthusiast and model builder (1/350 warships, 1/72 military aircraft). I started building models as a yong boy in the 1960s, but stopped as I got out of High School.
As a Director at Structural Dynamics Research Corportation, I took up the Hobby again for 3-4 years in the 1980s, in a shop in the basement of our home, but stopped again when we bought our own business and moved to Montana.
After serious, malignant bone cancer in 2010, and after a six month hospitilization and rehab, my wife recommedned I get back into it as part of my rehab when I returned. So, in late 2010, I did. She was exactly right, and here I am today.
