I currently live in Thousand Oaks, CA, and attend the high school here under the same name. I like building anything used by Russia, Germany, Italy, Britain, Japan, France and the Baltic States in WW1- WW2. Because of my large area of interest, I usually go through "stages" between armor, aircraft, ships, and figures. Occasionally I'll build a car. I also like building and painting lead wargaming figures.
I tend to build through most of the year, but enter a hiatus between August and November because I am in the Band. I don't usually get that much in the way if chances to get to a hobby shop, so every trip is worth it.
My other interests are older PC games, drawing WW2 era subjects of my own design, and I am also into locomotives and a fan of the Trainz/ Railworks sim series. I am also in to military history of the same period I model, so plenty of books and other reference materials such as the Battlefield series.
In addition to PC games, I also play the MMORPG World of Tanks, traveling down (at the moment) the German Tank Destroyer Line, and the French Artillery Heavy Tank lines. My most advanced vehicles are a StuGIII, a Ram II, a Lorraine 39 L AM, and a D2 medium tank. My WoT username is paperpanzer66.
