About SuppressionFire

Like many I returned to the hobby after I settled down in my 30's. All it took was a copy of 'Great Scale Modeling 04' and I was back building a few years later. My skills continued to grow as the complexity of my models. Scratch building and usage of common materials helped a lot. I am now living across the country and looking forward to a new home which I can claim a corner of my own to build again!

* To date the highlight of my model building is two builds pictured in 'Great Scale Modeling 08' under 'Western Canadian regional contest' section. A Jagpanzer L / 70 diorama in 1/72 scale and a motorized 1/48 scale 'Oscar' Japanese fighter plane. I am also very proud of:

* Marder II Soviet pac 36 / 76mm anti-tank gun in Great Scale Modeling 2010 page 33*

*Reader's tip in the May 2010 issue of Fine Scale Modeler page 56*
