Physically challenged
Posted by Maestro on Sunday, April 5, 2009 5:29 PM
Recently, I read a post in the Armor forum about a user who had suffered a back injury.  The resulting thread by users that had also suffered injuries got me to thinking.  I myself am physically handicapped with Muscular Dystrophy and the hobby of modeling has helped me to keep my fine motorskills in good shape and has helped keep my muscles from atrophy to a fair degree.  I am intested to know if there are any other challenged users out there and what they think about this.   ED

I had a stroke 12yrs ago and it left me legally blind and very weak on my left side.I also suffer from a seizure disorder.Building models are very relaxing for me and I espcially enjoy painting them because it helps me build up what little sight I have left. The doctors say that it really helps me to build strength in my eye muscles. Most of the people that see my work tell me I do a decent job on all my kits and that there better then a lot of good sighted modlers do.
