i figured it wouldnt be necessary to "double" the forums, as just one forum called modern and anything post ww2 could go into it. like i said though, it was just a thought and not an idea to suceed from the union! Laugh [(-D]

Well, it would be nice to have a modern forum, but like mikael said, we have to make sure that we limit the amount of forums or it will just get out of control.  BUt it would definatley be nice to have a modern forum. Maybe we can group certain eras together? like have anything post ww2 as a modern furom? I dunno just my My 2 cents [2c]

That's an interesting idea, but wouldn't it double the amount of forums? Since the modern aircraft builders would want a seperate forum, as would the modern armor builders, and modern ship builders and so on. Plus then modellers will want a section just for WWI armor, planes, and ships. Then some will ask why we don't have a Vietnam section too. Overall I think this idea would simply open up a new can of worms and divide us modellers into certain groups....which isn't a good thing.

Hi all. I was wondering if this has beeen discussed or not. since ww2 subjects represent the bulk of fsm and modeling in general, it's extremely hard for those of us who wish to post our modern stuff in places like the armor forum or others. We post it and 10 minutes later its at the bottom because of the inandated threads that follow on ww2 subjects and/or raves or rants or sometimes meaningless stuff that should be placed in forums like odd's & ends. Dont get me wrong as im not complaining more than...it would be nice to have a modern forum on here were those of us who like to do nothing but modern stuff have a small place to put our figures, dio's and armor into without being smothered and run off by ww2 subjects. I'm curious what the staff members think of this as well. Anyway, it's just a thought and would be a nice thing in my opinion. Wink [;)]
