I'm finding the site as quick as the old one used to be, at least to my recollection. The last few days were painful, but it's snappy today!

So long folks!

Hans von Hammer

Come now men...  Takes a bit of time for a proper shakedown cruise...   I'd rather have a buncha things go wrong in the first two weeks than getting whacked with all kinds of things going wrong 6 months hence...

Yeah, I know. And really, 15 years ago when I was on dial-up, this kind of speed would have been acceptable. But now I'm just spoiled I guess.

So come on you IT people. Grab those slide rules out of your pocket protectors. Slug down a couple cans of Jolt, and get this problem fixed!

Site is too slow to be usable at this point...

Well, it seems the speed is back down. Come on guys, you have to get this fixed. It's bad enough having to get used to all of the other changes, but when it takes a page 45 seconds to load, it just makes you want to go elsewhere.

Okay, I don't know what you guys did, but thank you. The speed is much better today. Not as good as it used to be, but much better than yesterday.

The speed of this new site is killing me.  Also I am getting a double window on the lower right hand corner of the modeling subjects home page.  And whats with the goofy new smilies I liked the old ones.

I hope this sight speed is fixable. The speed is totally unaceptable. Lets give them a chance to see if they can speed things up.

I was noticing the same thing. It's not just you; the new redesign is way too slow! I left a comment already on the appropriate page. It probably just needs tweaking to work out the kinks; I hope that's all it is.

Wow, this is horrible. I tried reading a few other posts to see if someone else is having this problem but I don't have that many years left! I am on cable and running Firefox 3.5.5. I hope this is just one of the growing pains resulting from the software change.
