I have no idea what the silhouette target lookin' thing is. But YOU have one, too!

I wonder if it indicates a friend? Must research!

HOLY COW, you are right!!! Where did that thing come from!!!  Now that I have it, maybe I don't really want it.... Stick out tongue

Guess I should clarify the read/unread thing. On the main forum page (View Forums > Recent Posts) I get the forest green for unread and olive green for read. They're pretty distinct to my eye, but I don't have any color blindness symptoms. On each specific forum (Armor or Aircraft) I get Green for unread and grey for read. Hadn't noticed that until after my last post!

Bgrigg,

Of course I gotta beg... darn it man, don' you know how many flame wars I've gotten into over the years on this site Embarrassed (Granted, most were with MikeV, but....)

You get green for unread and grey for read?  OK, I think that works, but I get two shades of green, one dark, one light... what is up with that?

Yeah, quantity....  I guess that is all that matters....Tongue Tied

Boyd,

You're not typing fast enough! Kidding. It does just flash by. Don't know why one would want to send a message with the request, unless you feel the need to beg? Devil

I'm getting Green for unread and Grey for read?

The "most active" list is showing the top posters of the day, and also shows their post count. I'm not sure why, post count rarely indicates quality, only quantity!

Can someone please explain to me how to make the friends feature work?  So far, I have figured out that I need to click on a user name and I can then choose to request them as a friend.  However, when I do that, a little dialogue window pops up, apparently so I can send them a personalized invite or something.  Thing is, that little window only sticks around for about 2 seconds (long enough to type 'Hey').  What am I doing wrong?

On a seperate issue, I'll echo the comment that the two different shades of green to distinguish read and unread are not distinct enough...

Oh, and, from now on will we only be able to see those who are most active overall (as in, those who have the highest post count)?  It was always nice to be able to see who had the most posts in the last 24 hours (or however the old site did it).  I mean, the new one is hardly going to change, so why even have it?
