Take the scale you want, such as 1/72.  Divide 1 by 72 it will give you a decimal (.01388 for the example).  Then take the actual dimension and multiply it by the decimal.  This will give you the size in the scale you want.

Ok Cool.  Thank you.  I have been pulling my hair out for the last couple days after reading some stuff in the How to build diorama book i just bought.  It kind of boggled my mind a bit.

Easy.

Download  one of the FREE  Scale-Calculators or use one of the FREE Online ones.

Personally I use a scale-calculator I downloaded from the StarshipModeler-Site.

Small program that lives on my desktop and does a lot of stuff.

HTH.

So this is what im looking for...

Is their an easy way (Math wise) to figure out how to take the real true life size of something and convert it (math wise) into 1:72 scale, 1:48 scale, 1:35 scale, and 1:144 scale?  Is their a formula or something?

Not sure if this is the right area to ask in but i figured what the heck.
