In which case I might as well not commentas I'm bumbing you back to the top.

The point in bumping a post back to top of the list when someone posts is to say "Hey Look At Me, I Have New Post'.

As for a question running its course? That depends, while FSM may not run at the speed other forums do it a post can sometimes (often in the GB section) slip to page two or three before person X has chance to see it.

Also what about the Fleet Air Arm GB or the ongoing ship/aircraft knowledge threads  these are years old and as such according to your theory that even though they are highly posted threads still they deserve to stay on page 112 or what ever where no one will ever see them?

Judge a threads worth on its current postings not its age. Once a threads run its course it will die. Be it after one post or 1000 posts.

All I can say is Noob or troll, not sure yet.

This not ment to offend anyone my idea is when you post a question in say the general modeling section and that question gets to the 2 page. It would seam that question has run it's course most everyone pretty much has commented on it. But say you do see the question and want to comment it should not be kicked back to the first page. Just an idea.
