If you are posting in a forum that sees many messages a day, please be specific in your subject lines. General subject lines like "A question," or " A comment" or "What is this?" aren't very helpful. In such forums I and many others do not read every thread. So I want to know the post is about something I am interested in. I know many others feel the same way. If your subject line is too general many readers will skip the thread.
This is not as true in a forum such as suggestions and feedback, it is for those forums with a dozen or two posts per day, but I thought I'd make the suggestion here since it applies to so many forums.

Nice reminder Don. Posts in some forums can easily get overlooked or buried. It helps to have the proper subject line in it. Also, it seems lately alot of posts are put in the wrong subforum??

Boy, THAT is sure true! I get the feeling folks completely ignore the title of a forum and its statement of charter. Looks like folks are in one forum, and they want to post something about another subject and just don't bother to change to a new forum first. I think for the most part the descriptions FSM shows for each forum is pretty much self-explanatory.
