June issue of the magazine
Posted by JayF on Friday, May 16, 2014 6:48 AM

Hello

Don't know if this is the right place to post my question but here it is :

I'm a subscriber (online and dead tree) and while I have received (and enjoyed reading) the May issue, I'm still waiting for the June issue.

Is it because I'm very impatient (something that comes with age, unfortunately Sad), or simply because there is no June issue this year ?

I've looked in the May issue and haven't seen any indication that there won't be a June issue.

Thanks

There are 10 issues a year and there is not one in June or August. You should get July's at the end of this month or early next, and then go 2 months until your next one, which will be Sept's.

There is normally an add indicating the release date of the next issue and whats in it, but I can't find that in the May issue.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Just out of sheer curiosity, I wonder why there are no issues in June nor August.  Why those two months in particular.  Personally I'd love to get 12 mags per month rather than 10 but oh well.  I'm happy with what I get.

In June it's so Monica Freitag can make sure the guys (  Matt and Aaron and Tim),  clean out the junk left on the desks and in the model building area.

In August, that's when the guys (Aaron and Tim) get back form all the model shows and state fairs, have to develop all the film (!?) they took before Matt gets back from his vacation.

The above was   ....I think

Sounds like you have the scoop in what REALLY goes on!  :)

Good to know this though as far as no June or Aug because I assumed the Hobby Store owner forgot to order this month.
