It shows up that way, as the "newest post in that forum", because it is the newest post in that section
The two with red "announcement" scripts are pinned, then the newest of the ones that could move up and down according to replies, is the thread in question
Pinned topics have that effect on most (if not all) of the forums I belong to,,,,,,the next "floating" topic is the newest in the section (non-floating forums don't have that, of course)
