You're right, I missed the original release of the Mk.Vc in 1976. According to Tom Graham, the lineage of Revell's 1/32 scale Spits runs like this: 1967 — Spitfire Mk.I (No. H-282); 1969 — Seafire Mk. Ib (No. H-294); and 1976 — Spitfire Mk.Vc (No. H-281).

Aaron, you have an error in your Spotlight on the Revell of Germany Spitfire Mk. II. The Mk. V actually came out as the Seafire Mk. IB in 1969, and was reissued by RoG in 1992. I bought the Seafire in 1973 to build it.
