To the Editor: New FSM magazine ideas.

I have a few ideas for future issues of FineScale Modeler magazine. Hopefully, you will give these some thought and may eventually produce some in the near future.

1. I rarely, if ever, hear or see models from women. The modeling community can't be all men, right? There's got to be women who enjoy modeling too? How's about a special issue focusing on model builds, reviews, and other submissions from women?

2. Same thing as #1 above, but how's about a special issue focusing on younger modelers, those 20 years old and under? Not all kids and teens are playing video games or on social networks. There's bound to be some really good younger modelers out there with some really great modeling talent. Let's find some and showcase their work!

3. For Halloween 2018, how's about a special issue focusing on humor in modeling?

4. For November 2018, how's about a special Veteran's Day issue focusing on model builds and other submissions from military veterans?

5. How about a special "Future of Flight" issue where every article, review, and other submission is about future aircraft? Things like the F-22, F-35, Russian T-50, civilian airliners, future space vehicles, and more.

6. How about a special "Moms and Dads" issue? Are there any couples who enjoy doing modeling together?
