Thank you Bish and Bill....after reading Bish's original response I felt like a idiot. And that has nothing to do with you Bish...it's just me. I just need to stick to looking and learning...not posting my opinion LOL Big SmileWink Thanks again gentlemen for your comments.

No egg. Hunter it seems your intentions were honest and forthright. There are more layers to this community than are immediately obvious to all. For instance, quite a few modelers here (not me) are commision builders, and good at it, but they don't make a lot of noise about it.

You can submit articles to the magazine. They have the usual standards, i.e. the piece needs to be well written, original, and the photos I believe need to be RAW.

Write them if you are interested, they are responsive.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

No, your not a fool at all Hunter. Giving the stunning work we see on here, its understandable to want to see peoples work recognised beyond what it already is on here.

And certainly no need to ask me before posting, and deffinetly no embarresment either.

Bish

Hunter, everyone is open to send in articles if they wish. At least a couple of forum members, including Karl Logan, regulaly have articles posted.

For the mag to select people out would smack of favoritisim and could well lead to others asking why not them. While i agree that Lawdogs builds are excellent, there are plenty of others who could be picked out for special mention for different reasons in different areas.

This sort of thing has been raised in the past and the general consensors has been not to select anyone member for special treatment.

But i would certainly hope that lawdog would send in articles to the mag, the engine wiring one would certainly be a welcome addition. BUt i believe they have certain conditions that items can't appear on the forum until after they have been in the mag.

Wow....Thank you Bish for enlighting me on that. I should have thought or asked you for sure before posting this. Yes....I have egg on my face Embarrassed I should of asked you first before looking like a fool LOL Thanks again Bish.

Dear sir,

There is a current forum member that exhibits immense talent in the "Aircraft" forum who goes by Lawdog114 (Joe). His talent for not only constructing an aircraft is that of perfection, but his knowledge and approach are educational. Every (WiP) he post are not only informative, but he provides a tutorial for every process he uses. The members that follow his (WiPs) continue to comment on his approach, and all the tips and techniques they've learned.

I strongly believe he would be an immense asset to the magazine, and all that read his tutorials that would be published. I don't believe it would hurt for you to look in on all the (WiP) post he has provided. That is my humble opinion. I know I would not be the only one that would look for him in every issue.

Regards,

Hunter Anderson
