BIG pix in signatures - JEEZ!
Posted by BlackBirdCD on Friday, April 23, 2004 4:20 PM
The REALLY BIG PICTURES in some of the signatures block the threads. I'm sure you're all very happy about your favorite model or image, but a thumbnail-sized image might let someone, I dunno, ACTUALLY SEE WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO SAY.

There is an easy fix. Just go to your edit profile page. Go to the "Board Display Settings" catagory. Now the first line says "Do you wish to view members signatures when reading posts?". Change it to no and your problem is solved. Wink [;)]

I agree with Lee, it is a matter of expression for most of us, some are kits we have built or images of interest to us, others such as mine are of actual vehicles that we or someone we know or love is serving on right now or in the past! You can turn off the feature as Woody has said if you have a slow connection or if it bothers you...Enjoy the forum either way and gleen all the info you can to help you with your craft!Wink [;)]

Yeah, that's exactly what it's called. Freedom of speech - which also includes the act of pointing out how awkward big pictures in signatures are. Strangely enough that freedom doesn't give me the opportunity to display pictures of gigantic tits in my signature, something I'm particularly fond of, but what's one to do?

Thanks for the tip Woody, that is an excellent solution.

I think what hes talking about is the Sigs that take the whole screen up and then get resized, how about just resize them before you up load them on the net

all the ones on this page are cool , when you click on them they dont get too big (there the right size) but there are some out there that fill the screen

when you have dial up it could take forever to load the page
i like the sigs

why should peaple have to do this, i like the different sigs

its getting worst when there are Sigs of the day starting

If you dont know what im talking about on the size of the sig( its very late here) , click your mouse button over some of the sigs to see how big they realy are.

BlackbirdCD LMAO!!!...Well said. I feel the same way. This whole forum is getting too cluttered with pictures, sticky topics and other junk which detract from the forum.

Just because we have the freedom to do something, does not mean we should abuse the privilege. I would say that some are abusing it.
