question about model web sites

This might not be the right place for this question, but anyway. I was serching for the Tamiya 1/20 scale F1 red Bull car. First I know it's hard to find and expensive. Now I come across two sitesModelkitcentral and Modeltoysale. Both havve the Tamiya kit one for 111.00 and theother for 39.00, sound to good is what I thought. Just want to know if you have heard of them and if it's just a scam. Long time subscriber and builder thanks for your help

 

We have not used either of those sites, but we always caution buyer beware. If it looks or sounds too good to be true, it probably is. You're probably better off sticking to tried and true sales platforms or hitting the swap meets at model contests and shows near you.
