Group Build infestations
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 12, 2004 11:09 PM
Is it me? there is now a separate Group Build section, yet still the Aircraft section seems to be infested with Group Builds. Am I the only one that gets wound up about this? Why are they there/, why do they do it?, is it like a Borg thing? It's time we had a clear out, surely?

I build what ever turns my crank at the time, be it jets cars, guns or boats. I really enjoy the hobby but tend to egnore the GB's unless it's something I may want to build at a latter date. They have lots of cool info and very helpfull hints and tips. I may not perticipate the they do make for great reading.

Judging by the number of replies to this thread, that certainly appears to be the case... Wink [;)]

Group builds originate in the forum of the Gb subject ,aircraft or armour or wherever and are then moved into the GB thread once they become established......
Without the concept of the Group build i would probably never finish a model....

I will often join a GB to build something a little different. It adds variety and pushes a little change, somehow that cannot be too bad a thing sometimes!

cheers

That was all they needed to do in the first place. Sticking them in the basement just complicates things.
