Let's get the forum pics in the Mag!

I know it must be difficult to do,or you guys would have already done it,but....it sure would be nice to see a "Forum Submission of the Month" page in the magazine. I understand about photo quality and logistics issues. Is there any hope of getting published without taking your work to the nationals or regional shows?

All right, guys, you're reading my mind. I'm hoping to include photos in future installments of the From the Forum column. The sticking point is that images posted on the web typically don't have good enough resolution for print. So in order to publish images from the forum in the magazine, I need to get in touch with the person who originally posted them and ask him for copies of the original, full-size, from-the-camera image files.

Hi Lawrence

I am quite sure that anybody on here would bend over backwards to give you the best possible photo images of their work!

Bravo, Lawrence. There are photos of some abolutely amazing works here on the forum pages worthy of being published. You WILL give us a heads-up before they're published, won't you?Wink [;)]

I had a pic of my First Rotodyne model published in Modelart Australia and I was so excited that my model was worthy of a mag publication. It sounds a great idea!

cheers

If one of my models was selected I would walk to your house and hand you my camera so you had whatever you needed. Cool [8D] I guess now I have renewed motivation to knock out a really nice project for the forum.

That's a great idea. We're already getting some bits and pieces of the forum columns in the magazine and photos are the next logical step.
