In FSM's Q & A section by Paul Boyer this December 2004, there is a question regarding detailing raised panel lines....
Instead of providing an answer (even a simple one), P. Boyer just directs the writer to buy a back-issue of the magazine! I was under the impression that this section was to allow readers to ask questions or get help for modeling problems. Couldn't just some basic advice be given..and then cite the relevant issue of FSM and the fact that back-issues are available.
It seems to be more than a bit disingenuous to print the letter and then just use it as an opportunity to sell a back-issue. Sorry if this seems a bit harsh but to me the response defeats the whole purpose of a Q & A.
