History and Model making go hand in hand.
Too bad we can't find a way to get both in the class room, might help the students to understand more. In the local paper they actually had a quote from a HIGH SCHOOL student that had no idea of the Battle of the Bulge! That is embarrassing!
Maybe I should say "was." I'm going to do something about it!!
Thanks FSM for the motivation needed.

I know it's only rock and roll, but I like it.

I'll second that. One of the better articles from FSM.

To the editors and staff at FSM, and especially the author (whose name I don't have in front of me right now): I really enjoyed the article on the overview of the Battle of the Bulge.

My grandfather fought in that battle with the 80th Infantry Division. Many years ago, I was privileged to go on a trip with my grandfather, many of his fellow veterans, and their wives on a tour of the Battle of the Bulge area. That tour made quite an impression on me then. The article really helped put what I saw on that trip into good perspective.

Regards,

-Drew
