How about another subject ? Modeling Humor ? Funny stories, jokes, etc. Just to break things up.

Modeling humour yes, such as showing off something funny seen at a show, or ideas,.. but jokes and the like, I'm not so sure. This would end up like the Aircraft Resource Centre page, with some humour that has nothing to do with the hobby, and some that would/could offend people (sexist stuff, politics, show off your support for this, remember that,..).

Modeling humor? Hmmmm,....we'll have to think about that. We're trying to keep the number of separate forums to a reasonable number, so we're being a bit cautious about adding new ones until we see where the heaviest traffic is. For now, humor can probably go in the General Discussion forum.

djmodels is correct about content: We're here to talk about modeling......and, of course, if you wouldn't want your kids or your mother to read it, it shouldn't be posted.

What I meant about jokes and etc. pertain to modeling related comments only, not
any jokes or comments not related to modeling. I hope this clarifies my previous post.

I think a subject like that might be good, if it can be kept focused on the hobby.

There is already a thread in the forum called "Whats your biggest modeling foul up?" I'm not certain how much attention its getting, but I like the idea, because often I've found myself taking the hobby just a bit too seriously sometimes, so its good to step back and laugh at someones annecdotes from the hobby and to add your own.

I'd say as long as it can be kept clean and on topic with the hobby, I'm all for it.
