On the Bench-Dambuster
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 1:22 AM

Here is the Tamiya 1/48 Lancaster. At this point of the build, I am rescribing the fuselage and doing the wings and eng nacelles. Basically OOB, only Eduard seatbelts and TD resin main mounts. This kit was bought in back in 92, even then it was already over 10 yrs old. The decals are shot, so I have bought some decals to replace the roundels and Sqdn codes in this case 617 that operated the Dambuster.

PS. my research has found that there was no guns in the lower turret, only the nose and tail were operated.
