I echo Dick's comments on the 1/72 F4U article. It was pretty good, but it didn't explain why that particular kitbash fixed the accuracy errors the author was trying to fix.
The other thing that bugs me is not really the fault of the author, but the cockpit is still not very accurate. Corsairs didn't really have cockpit floors. Look at the cockpit images about halfway down this page to see what I mean:

To really make the cockpit accurate, the floor should be cut away and some "plumbing" added underneath the rudder foot guides. I wonder if there's a resin detail set for the Corsair cockpit that would accomplish this kind of upgrade.
I liked the cutaway, of course.
I really liked the Patton article. It had a series of simple tips that really made the model look good. I like the scale too!
