Yes, VF-61 flew the F3H and carried the Jolly Roger flag on the fuselage. The old Squadron book "USN Aircraft Carrier Air Units, Vol.1" has a photo. I don't know of one online. That particular A/C (E 211, BuNo 137040) also carried a black rudder with yellow diamonds. I've seen one other photo of a squadron F3H with a plain rudder.

Maybe this will help a little.

Did the F3H ever fly in the colors of the Jolly Roger Squadron? If so would anyone have a photo of same to post on forum?
