I mean, what about that impossible-to-remove sticky tape thing that comes on CDs? I can hardly ever get that dang thing completely off...and when I do, there's always some glue left on the CD case, which eventually gets all cruddy and dusty. Now THAT'S something truly worth griping about!

That, and, ya know, other bad stuff, like hurricanes, war, traffic accidents, etc...Wink [;)]

Card inserts, indeed! Ha! Wink [;)]Wink [;)]Wink [;)]

That is so the staples have something to hold for the full page book club add.

I agree that these are not necessary and while I have avoided damage to the mags, I have had to work to be careful.
I would like to see the subscription inserts deleted from the mags that are shipped to subscribers. We already know how much a year costs and will get a friendly reminder when the time comes.
I know that this would probably cause issues with the printing of the mag. I am sure it is cheaper if they are all printed and bound the same way whether for subscription or in store. But it is still annoying.

I use the fly-out cards as bookmarks -- if not for the magazine, then for the many books on my shelves.

Today, with my brand new magazine, I was rippng out the card inserts and riiiippp went the page along with the insert.
FSM, if you would, please don't staple them with the pages.
It makes life a whole lot less enjoyable (with a huge rip in the page)
thank you for listening to my rant

edit: what was I thinking?!! I barely know anything about life...Disapprove [V]
