It would be nice to have a place where fellow modelers can rate their shopping experiences online. I don't mean a flame the advertiser forum, though as far as I'm concerned some do require flaming, but a simple 5 star poll to rate a company's overall performance. I believe that as a consumer, I have a right to make a well informed decision before I buy from a vendor and I really don't see this info anywhere. It would certainly help in avoiding some of the consistently bad sellers out in the cyberworld. Case in point, I have placed 2 orders from a well known vendor, how many went smoothly (everything in my hands within 2 months)? A big zero! Another vendor has taken 4 orders and every one went above and beyond my expectations, mainly by having an accurate website and having everything to me within a week.
I just don't think it is fair that the online vendors hold all the cards around here when it comes to sharing bad buying experiences with other modelers. Plus, it may just make people want to avoid the hassle and go back to the old brick and mortar hobby shop despite the higher cost.
But, this is all just my humble opinion.
