Just want to let the editors know that the FSM web forum has become my most important resource, perhaps more so than the magazine itself. Don't get me wrong, the mag is great and I look forward with much anticipation to each new issue, but this forum is extremely active, friendly, and helpful when it comes down to planning and executing a project, buying products, learning new techniques, etc. By using the search feature, I've been able to get most of my questions answered. I frequently don't even have to post a question, because someone else has already asked it, and it's been answered many times over. When I have had to post a question, a response is usually posted within the day and often within hours. You just can't beat that! The number of different approaches to each modeling challenges are fascinating -- there are some real clever people out there, and they are always willing to share their ideas to a level of detail and with a friendly assuring tone that takes the fear out of the unknown. This says alot of positive things about your readership and modelers in general, and I certainly appreciate the fine job you have done in making this resource available. The other night while I was clicking through my cable channels, I was thinking how great it would be if there was "The Hobby Channel." Then I could find a
real reason to watch TV! Maybe they have that somewhere in the country, but not in NYC. Imagine watching the FSM staff build a model, review new kits and products, teach "how to's", visit the kits of yesteryear, and even showcase real modeling subjects. That would be awesome. Keep up the good work!
