You're welcome, JChurch.

In response to your question: "Did you expect it to grow like this if it keeps up like this your gonna have to get a bigger server. "

All of us expected an increase of traffic on the site along with a good deal of activity in the forums, but honestly I think this has surpassed the expectations that many of us had for the site. The server should be able to handle this site for quite awhile, but if I get proved wrong that really wouldn't be such a bad thing (I wouldn't mind a new server Wink [;)] ).

Thanks for the feedback and keep it coming.

Actually its a great answer, much better than customer service which was basically
if I'm not on Internet exp we can't help you see you later!

I know this probably isn't helping, I'm on an ADSL line using Win 95 with netscape 4, as
far as the time, it is consistant throughout the site, the only time I notice a difference
is when I am submitting a topic or replying to one.

Something as well if it helps, when I first log in to your site, regardless of wether I fill in the blanks to log in or not
I am taken to another log in page, or is this just to keep out the riff-raff LOL. Did you expect it to grow like this if it keeps up like this
your gonna have to get a bigger server.

I think this site is fantastic I haven't gotten this much enjoyment out of the hobby since opening that first box!

On a solem note, I grieve for the Columbia and my deepist regards to you all. I was a dedicated follower of
the space program (until the damn CTRC took away my NasaTV channel).

Once again Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the quick and prompt response things like this make a guy want to stick around.

I know this isn't much of an answer at the moment, but I am aware of what you're referring to. I have a couple of theories, three possible solutions but I can't do anything until after Feb 10th.

If you wouldn't mind providing some additional information, it would help narrow down the problem. If anyone else is experiencing the same problem, please post here.

Are you experiencing this hang throughout the entire site?
Are certain areas of the site worse than others?
Browser Type/Version

I know it's fustrating, but please be patient with us.

Disapprove [V]I posted this question before but maybe in the wrong place for a response. My problem is the amount of "Hang " time between the document done message and when my screen actually comesup, sometimes it can take up to a minute or more
I know my system is old and alittle slow but I have not encountered this at any other site I've been, even sites with much information than here, you have few jpg's which I have found is what takes most of the download time. I love this site and with ou numbers growing literaly by leaps and bounds, missing a day or two without checking in can mean a long time in front of the computer catching up, and when my hang time is large it can mean a few hours doing this, especially if I need topop back and forth between threads,. Please help it is getting very frustrating?
