All of us expected an increase of traffic on the site along with a good deal of activity in the forums, but honestly I think this has surpassed the expectations that many of us had for the site. The server should be able to handle this site for quite awhile, but if I get proved wrong that really wouldn't be such a bad thing (I wouldn't mind a new server ).

I know this probably isn't helping, I'm on an ADSL line using Win 95 with netscape 4, as
far as the time, it is consistant throughout the site, the only time I notice a difference
is when I am submitting a topic or replying to one.

Something as well if it helps, when I first log in to your site, regardless of wether I fill in the blanks to log in or not

I think this site is fantastic I haven't gotten this much enjoyment out of the hobby since opening that first box!

I know this isn't much of an answer at the moment, but I am aware of what you're referring to. I have a couple of theories, three possible solutions but I can't do anything until after Feb 10th.

If you wouldn't mind providing some additional information, it would help narrow down the problem. If anyone else is experiencing the same problem, please post here.

Are you experiencing this hang throughout the entire site?
Are certain areas of the site worse than others?
Browser Type/Version
