FineScale Modeler is published ten times a year. We don't put out a June or August issue.
The July issue should be on sale now, and the September issue will go on sale in the beginning of August.

Oh, ok I didn't know that. But, that still doesn't explain why the July issue shouldn't be there.

Do you have the issue that is on the "home" page here? It should have been out in the first week of June, it was here in Canada.

Will, you live on the other side of the International Month Line.  When July issues are available here, you still have May.Smile [:)]

Will, here in Sydney it's usually available in newsagents Thursday of the third week of the month. Hobby shops which sell FSM usually have them 1-2 weeks ahead of the newsagents.

For what it's worth, I haven't seen it in the newsagents here either (inner south, not quite as far south as you).

That sucks. It's a good issue. I usually get mine one week after the release date. I hope yours is there soon. Maybe the boat is slow this week.

Will,

If you haven't got the July issue yet, it's on the stands now.

Why is it that Finescale is only a 10 month magazine? I'm sure theres a reson but I don't quite understand....I want 12 issues!

They do put out the annual Great issue.  They also have the other publications that include how-to, faq, etc...  I would be nice if it was a twelve month mag.  That way, I would have something new to read in the bathroom.  I've read all the July issue four times... including adds.

Yea, but these guys need some holidays sometime ya know. Ten a year is fine, I would like two more, but modeling tends to die down around may-june and families start to take vacations and such. The warmer weather puts hidding in a model room on the back burner for the family folk too.

I know what you are saying mortar, I have read the issue several times over myself. We will just have to live with it.

I agree with you, I'm not complaining even though it seems like it.Smile [:)]  I'm sure we'd all prefer if it came out as often as Newsweek.Smile [:)]  Truth be told, if it was a twelve month not an eleven(as I consider it so), the issues would be smaller and perhaps the quality would slip a bit.  Believe it or not, it takes a lot of work for so few people to turn out a magazine like this.  If they need 60 days in the year to get some rest and play some catch-up with their articles, projects, show visits, corporate BS, let 'em have it.Thumbs Up [tup]
