I really think there should be a FSM Aicraft and a FSM Armor. They already split the cars and such to "Scale Auto Magazine" why not A\C and armor? Maybe alternate months?

I am also motivated in this be seeing that next month's edition is a jumbo-supersized-extra special edition dedicated to aircraft.

When I read that the jumbo would be an aircraft issue (me being a 1/2 armor, 1/2 aircraft modeler), I said to myself,

"So? Every FSM is the aircraft issue...." Big Smile [:D]

I want to see how to do interleaved roadwheels correctly on a tiger (maybe 1/2 page) that included techniques on painting rims. Maybe how to do filters, as I still haven't figured it out. Also zimmerit, even though  it has been covered numerous times, I want to see a new way to do it...

I'll  think of more.

Hey all,

I am sure it has been done before, but I thought it might be cool for us, the dedicated subscribers and readers of FSM Big Smile [:D] to offer up suggestions as to what we would like to see as feature stories or articles in the magazine.  (Yes, I am motivated to do this partly by Mike's post that suggests a story on planning a model build - good on you Mike, I'm right there with you!).

I am also motivated in this be seeing that next month's edition is a jumbo-supersized-extra special edition dedicated to aircraft.  Now don't get me wrong, I love aircraft, I build aircraft, but I build armor too, and I have been disappointed by what I see as the lack of articles specific to armor when compared to the large number dedicated to aircraft.  (I know, I know, there is a legitimate argument to be made that the demographics of the hobby, which is made up primarily of aircraft modellers... etc. etc. Tongue [:P]).

So I offer this thread, for us to post what we would like to see (yes, aircraft modelers, you are welcome to make suggestions too Wink [;)]).

So here is my offering:

There is a huge array of different German Army Uniform camoflage patterns, from simply field grey to splinter patterns and oak leaf patterns - it is kind of mind boggling.  So I would like to see an article that talks about the primary camo patterns used by the Germans in WWII and when they were used, and, MORE IMPORTANTLY, some tips and techniques for painting them.

I'm excited to see what everyone else wants.
