A Thank you to FSM....
Posted by gulfstreamV on Friday, October 13, 2006 10:27 PM

I'd just like to take the time to thank all of the people at FSM(past and present) for their great work! In all honesty I still feel that little kid in me when I go to the mailbox and see the mag in there. Just like I did when I rode my bike home from the LHS with a new kit all those years ago. I may of lost the time to" stay in the game " in this hobby for awhile, but never the intrest and looking forward to the next issue to keep my love of this hobby alive. Thank You all at FSM.. To many more years of a great magazine.                         gulfstreamV, Mike

I can echo that!

I'd been out of modeling for over 20 years, and started picking up FSM last fall when we went to Barnes and Noble on weekends. Just reading the magazine got me wanting to get back into the hobby I loved so much. Thanks to encouragement from my wife to do so when she saw how much I loved reading FSM- I'm back in it! I'm on my 8th and 9th kit since February!

Thanks FSM!

And double thanks for this forum!

You all do a great job with the Magazine.  Like others have said before I feel like a little kid again when the new issue arrives and I run into the house to pour over each and every page.  Also thanks for these forums, this is such a great place for fun, advice, sharing and well, just hanging out.  I love it!  Big Smile [:D]

Matt;

As others have said here and as I told you in person at the Ajax show it's a fantastic magazine.

I personally saw the result of reading and re-reading FSM. To take a Silver in Scratchbuilt amongst the talent there and my first time entering I was thrilled. So my personal thanks to all the staff, authors and all involved with the magazine and the forum, you each helped make me a better modeller.

Cheers;

Gregory
