Annoying

I subscribe ,so  I usually get my copy the first few days of the month. ie the jan issue was recieved first week of Dec. however my feb issue isn't here yet, but i expect it any day. that is unless it is stuck on a ship somewhere. But generally I seem to recieve my copy about the same time as most people in the States seem to.   ( i live in south east Queensland, Australia)

I think a lot of having the issue come out before the actual month probably has a lot to do with a "perceived benefit" to having a subscription, you get it before it appears on store shelves.  Also once it hits the shelves, it can be out there circulation for a month or two and still be a "current" issue which stimulates sales as well.  Otherwise the issue is "old" after having been on the shelf for a few weeks and is less likely to be sold.

It's all about marketing my friends.  All magazines do that.   

From the way I read Will's post.... isn't he asking, "Why am I getting the Feb issue in Dec?"

As others have mentioned, if you're in Australia, you're quite literally as far away from FSM as you can get and still be on the planet. Sorry for the delay.

If you look at the masthead (on page 5 of most issues) we do offer a Foreign Air/Expedited Delivery Service. It's an additional $45 US a year.
