Another idea for a new forum
Posted by ww2modeler on Saturday, July 7, 2007 4:37 PM

I was thinking, why isn't there a forum that discusses photography and displaying models. One that would have discussions about lighting, camera types and settings, backround, bases with finishes, how to create smoke, natural light, and others. Just an idea.

On the bench:

1/35 Tamiya M26 Pershing-0%

1/144 Minicraft P-38J Lightning-50%

Numerous 1/35 scale figures in various stages if completion.

It could be a diorama forum.  I think that the two go hand in hand.

You know, with the increase in photoshopping models onto backgrounds, it may not be such a bad idea to have an "Image Manipulation" forum.

How about a new forum dedicated to Aftermarket?  I realize that people probably talk about it in all the forums individually, but I'd like one place to go.  I'd like to ask if anyone has used a certain aftermarket kit and if it worked out for them...or didn't.  Maybe even the companies that make this stuff could use it as an announcements forum.

That's a big Sign - Ditto [#ditto]

I was just getting ready to post this same suggestion, but I figured I'd better poke around a bit first just in case it had already been brought up, and lo and behold, there it was.  I think this is a great idea.  I can build models, but I can't for the life of me take pictures of them that are worth a darn...I'd really like to be able to share NICE pictures of my groupbuilds, but don't know how...Sad [:(]  Please?  Please, Mr./Ms. Moderators??  Please?  I'll be a good boy, I promise. Big Smile [:D]
