DVoss, question for you...
Posted by erush on Friday, October 10, 2003 1:01 PM
Hi Dave, someone posted in the armor forum about y'all mentioning the 1/35 and 1/16 Tiger builds in the e-mail newsletter and some of the guys don't recieve it. I saw it was a option when registering for the forum but cannot find anywhere to go back and add it in after the fact.

Could you set up a box in the profiles maybe to go back in and select it after you're already registered or is it out there somewhere and we haven't found it??

Oh, and if when you reply you might want to post it in the thread in the armor forum too. Wink [;)]

Thanks a lot Dave,

Eric

If only I had procrastinated, this would have been a better place to post my answer. Smile [:)]

In regards to that newsletter... Blush [:I]

I know this sounds silly, but there's nowhere on the site where you can sign up for the newsletter after you've registered. At registration was/is the only time the option becomes available. The good news is that we've been aware of the problem and the next version of the forum allows you to add/remove yourself from the newsletter. The bad news is that due to our schedule and one of our programmers leaving for another job, I'm not sure when we'll be able to do the upgrade. Worst case scenario puts it out until Jan 2004.

As a chance to promote other titles and sites... Wink [;)]

Our sites using the upgrade are:

Bead&Button
http://www.beadandbutton.com/bnb/community/forum/

BeadStyle Magazine
http://www.beadstylemag.com/bds/community/forum/

Astronomy.com
http://www.astronomy.com/community/forum/

Trains.com
http://www.trains.com/community/forum/

I moved my response over to hear to keep the other on topic.

I know I could "simply" add in that box, but there are a lot of other little fixes that I've made based upon feedback from here. I would love to get them on here all at once.
