FSM going online only also?
Posted by georgebluhm on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 9:00 AM

I am troubled by a thread on the Scale Auto forum(which is under the same publisher).

The editor ran an editorial saying it is only a matter of time for it to go online only and no more print issues. He said the cost of paper just went up.As a buyer of both mags,I was wondering if there is any ideas of FSM doing the same??

I certainly hope not! The resolution on the screen is nowhere near as good as on paper. Furthermore, it's easier to have a magazine open on the workbench when I'm using FSM as a reference than a computer.

Nope!

We have no plans to go "online only" anytime soon.

Ah, that's good to read. :-D

By the way, Matt, did you know that Writers Digest magazine rated FSM as one of its top 50 magazines for freelance writers?

I wasn't aware of the Writers' Digest rating -- thanks for letting me know!

We do buy (and use) a fair amount of freelance work. Plus, we pay on acceptance, so authors don't have to wait months and months to get paid.
