Amtech had a series of 48th F2Hs planned but unfortunately they went belly up before relasing those kits. Hobbycraft has been promising the Cougars for several years with no sign of them yet. I would really love to see the A3D/B-66 done in 48th.

We have two decent 1/48 models of the FJ4 Fury but none of the more numerous FJ3(other than collectaire). Also no 1/48 models of the F2H Banshee(other then collectaire). In 1956/57 these were the mainstay of the fleet. In 1956 thru 1959 my father was CO of VF211(FJ3) then CAG 21. I am going to build models of all the airplanes in CAG21 for the two tours he was on.The 1/48 models that I need are the FJ3,F2H3,F9F8P,AD5,S2F,and A3D.With the exception of the AD5, the rest are available from Collectaire but at a relatively high cost. Maybe we can get some momentum going to get the injected molded guys to make these.
