FSM Magazine and Author Information
Posted by SNOOPY on Thursday, June 12, 2008 6:56 AM

I am posting mainly here to find out if it is possible to get in touch with some of your authors about article they have written in the past.  The reason I would like to get in touch with them is to ask them questions on their build.  Could you tell me how we could send the author's of these articles direct questions?

The other thing is that I have read a couple of post about FSM choice of articles lately.  Since I do subscribe, I would like a variation of article instead of the same old stuff but I also like to see different opinions and views on the same subjects.  It is probably not easy to run a magazine and please everyone.  I think FSM is doing a great job trying to keep a balance of old viewer subjects to trying to bring in novice people to the hobby.  I have been trying to build models for the past 10 years and more and can say that I am still a novice since I have turned out on model I was pleased with.  The only thing I would like to see if possible is a section like in some of the Model Train Magazine were there is a scratchbuild subject and they take you step by step which may take two three articles but they tell you the materials and plans, then the build, and then the finishing.  I would not mind reading articles on how exactly someone scratchbuilt a quad gun or a ship, etc.

I have too many hobbies and start many things and never have time to finish them.  I fly RC planes in the Spring to early Fall and then for the Winter I try to concentrate on plastic model building.  Along with a family, it is not easy but reading FSM even old articles keep me intersted.

Thanks FSM!!!!

Snoopy,

Thanks for the query. If you have questions for one of our authors, send them to us and we'll forward them to the modeler. You can e-mail them to me at askinner@finescale.com.

Cheers,
