For what it's worth, I found a copy at a Border's bookstore in Raleigh on Friday (Aug. 1).  When I got home Saturday evening (Aug. 2), my subscription copy was waiting in the mailbox.

Yeah, I've been going to my local Borders looking for the September issue for weeks now, and starting to get frustrated because on the FSM homepage it's been saying the September issue is "on sale now" for weeks.  Now I'll just go down there on the 5th and pick it up.

Thanks Matt, I just don't want to miss an issue having a collection in binders back to 1986.

Thanks for the explanation Matt. I was starting to panic a little because on the Homepage it shows the Sep. issue as on sale now.

I have not gotten mine either. It is always late. I would be better off getting from the hobby shop as they have it a couple weeks before I do. There is really no benefit to subscribing other than cost saving. Maybe it is a Chicago thing as I am in that area also. Being so close to the publisher, one would think we would be one of the first to get it. It is a good thing that FSM is such an invaluable resource or I would have cancelled long ago.

I wouldn't worry, you just gotta be patient. I'm still waiting for my issue probably won't come for another week or so. But I blame the Censored [censored] slow Chicagoland postal service. A letter from my neighbor across the street took almost a week to get to me. Now that is what I call just plain BAD service.

Has anybody out there received their Sept. FSM yet? I've been out of state twice in the last 3 weeks and I swear I normally would have mine by now but I don't. I don't want to panic yet but I also don't want to miss an issue. If most haven't got this issue yet I'll sit tight for another week, but if most already have it I'll start watching at my LHS or Barnes and Noble.
