I am presently creating a display for an aviation museum in Western Canada entitled "Bombers Saving Lives". I presently have completed Academy's 1/72 scale SB-17 and SB-29 with lifeboats, both in American colour schemes. I have also create several 1/72 scale Lancaster Mk.X's in different RCAF S.A.R. markings.
I am now looking to find any resin accessory firm who has produced a lifeboat to fix on the underside of a Avro Lancaster ASR Mk.III. Does anyone know of a firm who produced and is going to produce a lifeboat for a Lancaster ASR Mk.III in 1/72 scale?
I could use the lifeboat from the Academy SB-17, but it's the wrong shape, and Academy SB-17's are hard to find. To make matters worst, I need to find a decal sheet in 1/72 with the RAF 203 Squadron crest for this project.
Any suggestions with help for this project with help a lot. Any ideas?
