This didn't used to happen when I typed in MS Word

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";}

OK the reality is my typing absolutely “creates a powerful vacuum”.  No biggie when I am typing a short post but when I make a long response I used to go the MS Word, type it there so I can spell check, and then cut/paste it over here.  Now when I do that I get all the rubbish you see at the top of this post.  Whether it’s 1 word or a long page.  Anyone know wassup with that?

This happens to me when I use Word as well. I recently switched to Ubuntu Linux, and now use Open Office or Lotus Symphony instead of Office. I don't have the same problem.

Open Office and Lotus Symphony are free downloads and will work on Windows, and worth looking into IF you have high speed. If you don't PM me your address and I'll burn you a disk with the installers and mail it off to you.

So long folks!

Hi Bill

I will check that out.  You are on Mozilla aren't you?  I am and it has something to do with that.  This message is typed in Word but I am posting logged in via IE.  This started one day after one of the auto updates that Mozilla does from time to time when the program is started.

BTW good to see you, been a while.  Are you here less or have we just not crossed paths lately.

Yeah, I use Firefox, and I'm less sure that Firefox broke. Microsoft isn't exactly open source friendly. I seem to recall it happened after a Windows update. No problems since I booted into Ubuntu.

I'm around less than I used to. You threw me into such a tizzy when you started building armor that I was unsure what happened to the forum! Propeller [8-]

Just kidding, I've been busy at work and too tired to come and play like I used to! Wink [;)]

So long folks!
