Enhancement request: Make "My Discussions" link more prominent
Posted by the Baron on Thursday, December 10, 2009 11:43 AM

I'd like to see the link to a list of threads in which I have posted, formerly called "My Forums", now called "My Discussions", more prominently displayed.  It would be useful to have it on the page with the forums/"discussions" listed by category.

I've found it a couple of times, since the implementation, but I've been having trouble getting back to that list, once I return to the list of forums.

Regards,

Brad

BTW, why "discussions" for forums?  Did some marketing genius poll a focus group, and his research showed that "discussion" is warmer and fuzzier than "forum"?

OK, I just stumbled on the link, you have to drill down from the main page, to the View Forums page, and it's in the filter at the top of the page.

I think it should be more prominently displayed, though I recognize that this option was not available on the main forum page in the old version, either.

I noticed that the link is now on the main forum content/index page, so it is a little more convenient to use now.

Regards,

Brad

The "Your Forum Discussions" link is now also in your user profile box to the right of the screen. You should now be able to hit that wherever you are in the forum. Big Smile

Yes, I think the staff are doing a good job of monitoring issues that the forum members report and to follow up, where possible.

Much better job than eBay, where the comment boards are really only just a steam valve, and few if any issues are ever addressed. Wink
