Is there a way to send a PM to some one that has posted a message?

Click on their name beside their post to open their profile, then click on "Start a conversation"

Is it true that we NO LONGER can answer a post using PM instead posting the answer?

What do you mean?

"Start Conversation" is at the bottom right corner of each post!

So long folks!

Yes, I know how to start a conversation. What I want is to answer a post, but only to the person who post it.

When you click "Start Conversation" at the lower right corner, it starts with a blank. No copying over of the title and no facility to quote. It is not "answering". Did I miss something here too?

Ah, I get it.

Sorry, but I think that's another feature that disappeared during the "improvement". I guess this comes down to "less is more", which turns out to be less features and more of a pain in the butt!

You could always cut and paste the quote into the conversation, but that is just a work around.

So long folks!
