Quoting Posts with Pictures
Posted by Hans von Hammer on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 11:19 AM

Although many of us like to quote other's posts in order to make sure we're addressing the right person, quoting posts with pictures in them is a problem at times, especially for those with dial-up and other types of slow connections.. This is especially annoying in posts that simply state, "Good job" or I like it" or something simple like that...

If you MUST quote someone in a reply, the best way to do it is to edit the quote...  To do it, you simply place your cursor in between the quote commands and "back-space out" all the unwanted text and picture urls...

Another way is to highlight, copy, and then paste the specific line(s) or picture urls into the reply window, place the quote commands appropriately, and then finish your reply.

Ditto

Folks tend to assume that everyone is on a high speed connection. The other thing is less information is sometimes better.
