Shutting off signatures?

There isn't a setting to turn off sigs or pics. It's a shame as some people still are relying on dial up and it must just kill their download speed!

It's too bad you can't shut them off.  I'm on a high speed system so it doesn't really affect me as it would someone on dial up.  Sometimes I think a topic with three pages of comments could be cut down to a single page if I could just shut off some of the massive signatures that some people have.  So for me, they're just a space waster.  I can only imagine how much they must bog down someone who is on a dial up system.
