Help! I need Zvezda ZIS-151 or Italeri Katyusha instructions!
Posted by BigTomCat on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 2:51 AM

I was in Russia in 2007, and found a Zvezda kit of a ZIS-151 that I had not seen in the USA, and that I wanted to model when I got back home, but discovered when I returned to the states that there were no instructions inside.  HELP!  I am a good modeler, but not THAT good.  As I remember,  it seems as thought the chassis layout is the same as a WW2 Katuysha from Italeri, but it was almost 20 years ago when I did that kit, and the old box and instructions are long gone.  I would appreciate some help from a friendly modeler who could email me a scan of either the instructions for a Zvezda ZIS-151, or possibly a set from the Italeri kit of the Katuysha.  If I had either I could maybe start a long avoided diorama of a Red Army street fighting scene I saw a photo of that my Russian wife's uncle participated in during the battle of Berlin.  Anybody!!!!  Help!!!!

Thanks,

J. Young

Are you still looking for the instructions?

Wow!  I can't believe it!  I bought the ZIS-151 kit while living in Russia, and didn't even know the instructions weren't there (along with the decals, but I have many, many spares in that regard) until after I got the kit home in the states.  You are doing me a great favor, and I really appreciate this!

Thanks
