Cross reference the instruction sheet part with the parts tree diagram usually found on the second page of DML kit instructions.
One thing that helps with DML kits is to remove all parts not being used for your variant. That is they tend to mold multiple variants using common sprue frames that contain parts common to each. The logic being if you only have the parts required without all the extras (up to 30%) it will be easier to find the parts for your version.
Not as common yet it does happen, a possible error in the instructions may have occurred.
