Search the forums before you post your topic

That's what FSM says in their Forum Rules.  What a great idea!  I just can't figure out how to do it.  Using the standard SEARCH Finescale.com box never brings up anything useful such in forum posts.

Somebody must know how to search just the posts for something like "superglue" and only get the posts related to the subject.  I'd really appreciate some help...

Hey mate,

I think you need to use the "Search our Community" box, which is further down the page, currently beneath some advertising for the digital FSM.

Yeah, unforuntately the FSM forum has about 6 different searches, or so it seems. If you are trying to do a search for something on the forum, you have to scroll down, close to the bottom of the right hand column of 'stuff' and look for the 'Search our Community' box. It's a pretty crappy system, IMHO, although the search itself usually works pretty well. It is just one of many ways that the current forum setup is not particularly intuitive nor is it user friendly.
