I believe its the toluene that warrants the warning.  Unless you made a deliberate effort to huff the putty, then the small quantities found in the tube should be of no consequence.  Normal precautions should apply, such as working in a well ventilated area and keeping it out of the reach of children.  As i understand it, the squadron putty is less dangerous that enamel thinner.  If you want to be on the safe side, wear the same ppe as you would when working with resin.

I have been a little nervous about using squadron green putty after seeing the warning labels. I would Really appreciate other modelers opinions, on wether it is safe or not.
